Another thing, I have no idea why it irritates me so much these days when people say the OBVIOUS exact opposite of what they are doing/thinking.

It’s like slapping me across the face when you clutch a bag with RM500 worth of La Senza’s lingerie & declare you actually despise the brand & you would much prefer Xixili or something.

Okay, that is one lame example. Hmmm, how about like if a girl has full makeup on 24/7 & she complains to you that girls with thick makeup damn pretentious & demands why are they like that & thinks she’s wayyyy above them ._.

For the record, La Senza is still the best :P & the other day, I can’t believe my bff & I squealed & ran inside the store just to have a feel of the santarina collection LOL such perverts tsk tsk.

Hello, I seriously have to stop neglecting this (increasingly dusty) part of my life here lol

A whole lot has happened since I last… promised to blog, heh :P

The long & short of it is that I finally begun working, which is about time as well, seeing how fast my bank account is emptied every single month. =.=

On the other hand, working freelance has not made me any richer, in fact, I might just very well have became poorer. FACT FACT. Well you see, with income, I spend more, which is… a whole lot more in a crazy out-of-control state so……. you get it, sigh.

Hehe me being hiao (& bored) with the 8-year old wallet that I used for 6 years. =.= I wish I was kidding.

This is half of my shopping pride & glory in less than a month. *NEW WALLET from topshop warehouse YAY!

A whole lot of makeup because working needs makeup, that’s one of the very important stuff I have learned working. The rest being:

A) MY MAKEUP SKILLS ARE CRAP

B) MY POSING SKILLS ARE CRAP

C) MY HAIR IS CRAP

D) MY EYEBROWS ARE CRAP

During my last job as show girl at Malaysian International Game Show / Teen Fest 2011, the day before the first day of work, I was down with the fever. On the first day of work, I have stomach cramps, my feet hurts like fuck (super high heels does shit to the untrained elephant legs) + the best thing ever is MY FUCKING CONTACT LENS IS SHITTY!

I opened a new pair of contacts lens as the old pair is already torn. HOW WAS I TO KNOW THIS SHIT WILL HAPPEN TO ME?? FML la seriously. I rather have worse stomach cramps & more painful feet than PAINFUL EYES. Plus, I had to be rushed to the 24hr clinic after work as my right eye was tearing up uncontrollably.

Nevertheless, since I was tied up with work for the 3-day job, I had to continue wearing the faulty pair of contact lens.

I hate how shit happens to me during important days.

On a much happier note, I bought half a dozen new clothes in the name of Chinese New Year (but as I type this down, as much as I want to believe myself, I highly doubt their virginity would be preserved till then)

As we grow up, I guess it is inevitable that many of our more naïve perceptions changes with time.

Do you remember the younger uglier versions of us sitting back in our high school classroom constantly discussing about our future, exploring endless (then) possibilities of career choices and envisioning about our future partners. And many more rebellious acts like fighting with our parents, doing forbidden stuff, challenge the line that separates us from getting into trouble with law enforcements.

I used to think some things would never happen to me, to people around me, to my comfort circle of people. They seemed so far away, so indistinctive, so implausible. But yet so near & so imminent now.

I’m not sure what I’m lamenting right now but it’s just one of those days when such thoughts run through my mind and I have the strangest urge to put it down into words.

It’s not like I have seen much of the world. I have a delicate yet a very unadventurous childhood, which might explained why I had such a hard time fitting in most of the time.

I spent my time learning ballet & the piano (both of which didn’t last long), doing jigsaw puzzles, playing Barbie dolls, doing teatimes with my friends.

When I was 7, I had something that can be likened to a cultural shock when I was taken to my primary school. I couldn’t fit in. I got beaten by my very extremely strict teacher every day.

Enough of my past, I’ve been deviating from my point for quite some time now.

I guess what I really wanted to say is that,

No. Nothing happens the way I envisioned myself to be more than a decade ago. Nothing is really that far away.

Sometimes, I think that I might have lost myself all those years ago back in primary school. That’s the reason why I am still feeling unrefined and directionless despite my upcoming 21^st birthday.

Maybe I’m just feeling a teeny weeny bit depressed because of that stupid yearly thing that should mean less to me… but it means so much more now because it means I’ve been feeling lost and have been sleepwalking for 2.1 decades.

What does it mean? What does it really mean?

I remembered how many of us used to say if we would have a controlling boyfriend, walk away with style! But no, it doesn’t quite happen that way. I read one of a distant friend’s blog where she explores the possibility of a scenario which her husband (also imaginary) had an affair. What would she do? 5 years ago, I would have said fuck that bastard! Get a new one! She did too. What about now? Yes, we could have still done it. Fuck that heart that is still beating for him. Heartbroken? Yes, but we would still have lived. However, what if… what if you had a child with him? Would that still be that easy? Guess not. It makes it harder and worse (or better and easier, depends how you looked at it) if he came back on his knees begging for forgiveness. Could you find it in yourself despite all the anger and anguish to forgive your child’s father but also the cheap man slut?

There isn’t a definite and distinctive answer to that. It depends on you. However, the choices you decided to make? Make sure you could live with them throughout your life.

P.s Nothing of this magnitude has happened to me. My boyfriend is still faithful (I hope LOL) and I'm not depressed! Like I said, just a train of random thoughts, people.

it was just another day at work...

friday is like the most relaxed day + we could go off at 4 today!

(due to the upcoming street rally)

so i was leisurely facebooking with yi ru... going through pictures of reaaaally adorable kittens and puppies and figuring out when is harry potter premiering and reading about tomorrow's street rally stuff. oh and bitching about the printers at work.

that was until hafiz

(i am not sure whether this is how his name is supposed to spell LOL)

dragged me over to dissemble a suction pump.

that guy makes me feel that i have a sign which says

"please bully me"

plastered all over my forehead.

just when i walked over to him.

he said "just joking!"

anyway, dejected & bounded by duty, i started unscrewing while being oblivious to the fact that both MEN beside me were fully equipped with surgical mask & gloves.

awhile later, one of them handed me gloves and we continued dissembling.

it was not until some gooey yellow liquid started dripping when one of the MEN started exclaiming how i should totally wear a mask or else i'll get infected or worse that freaked me out so much that i yelled for yi ru to help me get it on.

all in good time, as i bend back down, the MEN practically ran away!

i looked down and this is what i saw.

let's just say the gooey yellow liquid was as pure as water compared to this.

this was our senior spraying disinfectant.

thank GOD!

i never have been so grateful at the sight and smell of disinfectant!

(it smells like guava, if i'm not mistaken)

the CHUNKY stuff smells reaaaaaaaaaaaaally bad.

like saliva from various people + rotten..... something-s.

maybe like rotten corpse.

(except that i never smelled one... TOUCH WOOD)

halfway through all of these filthy madness, another intern walked in holding a piece of bread and munching away happily.

all these while looking closely at the CHUNKS.

after that, he ate some sweets.

then, someone insisted that we wear aprons.

another intern was responsible for dressing us up as our hands are really filthy at that point.

like a bunch of horny hens, they instantly started a lengthy discussion about how the guy helped me with my apron.

sigh. really.

and the little dissembling session ended right after i was dressed in an apron.

this leads me to a suspicion that the point of wearing an apron is...

the dude bullies me at each opportunity he gets!

the other day i was having dinner with his friends and him when he started to whine like a lost kitten (still have no idea why people insist that he can crunch up their bones or whatever :P) that he had nothing to do during the weekends.

naturally, his friends asked why didn’t he want to hang out with me?

that was it.

his golden chance to make me look bad.

“ohh… *huge earth-shaking sigh* aiya she has her own outings with her friends”

completed with a helpless kitten look.

his friend looked at him sympathetically

then turned around and sternly asked me why didn’t I include him in my weekend activities!

as i sat there mouth agape, with a blank mind, in my mind i was seething and cursing

PLUS, guess who joined my meticulously planned night out with friends?

alright, to be fair, it was impromptu and his friends were the ones who suggested the exact same place………

i’m weeping in remembrance of the moment when you felt your life is complete… that only kinda happens when i’m surrounded with food… but really… i’m just actually weeping cuz i stuffed a lot of wasabi in my mouth.

i asked him to store the ice-creams in his fridge as mine is not cold enough… :( so we got home to start on our artificial organs report while he went over for basketball. we were all kinda pumped cuz we wanted to watch SCREAM later in the night! but of course, scream wasn’t onscreen yet… dejected level 2.

he came over with ice-creams and we dug in with our weapons (spoons)… however, the ice-creams were not really frozen :( …

so i went totally out of my mind and bought 5 hairbands in one go. don’t ask. really.

hmm it’s sort of weird blogging now cuz i’ve been MIA missing in action for 2 months 16 days? lolz. i even missed important dates like chinese new year and valentine’s! talking about sleeping throughout your life.

blogging to me is like flagging down a cab. i know right, everything i say now is beginning to sound weird even to myself. wait, hear me out first. if i flag down a cab to get to school, i would do it everyday, thus burn a hole in my pocket. it is strangely addictive and immensely appealing to my lazy ass.. which for the life of me, i have yet to figure out why the fuck i cant be punctual for any of my classes (80% of which starts about noon) alright, back to the main thing. however, if i don’t flag down a cab for awhile, i am like 90% less likely to do it tomorrow and in the future. the same goes for blogging, if i don’t blog for awhile, i am less likely to blog soon. well, unless i have the strange urge to do so like now.

oh i think it has some direct connection with the fact that i am unable to log in to facebook since noon! what the hell is going on!

nothing much has changed since i last blogged i think… except now i have more clothes than ever and i don like half of them (don’t ask). and the 2 sisters that have been living next door? the younger one graduated and left… before you open the champagne bottle.. the older one brought her bf home EVERY SINGLE DAY after work after dinner and he practically lives here… i don’t mind that. i don’t mind he showers and stuff. i don’t even mind that she does ALL his laundry for him and frequently threw my 85% dry clothes in to make way for his clothes.

i mind that i see his undies lying in the pail when i go shower. wait, that’s just me being lucky. if i’m not… well there’s a personal cologne i would love to call… SWEATY stench thankyouverymuch for sharing. i mean he’s nice & all… but c’mon lor… that does not make everything okay.

next, i told angie i was looking for a cooking utensil, she lead me back to a very far aisle. and then told me she couldn’t think pass the hunger thus the mistake. it was on the other side lol. she was also dead serious.

i nearly failed to mention angie STOLE a singlet WTF. nolar, not exactly stole but when i was paying, angie was stoned the whole time with her hands wrapped around the singlet she wanted… so………………… we forgot. serious. swear.

conclusion: we are kind of operating on low battery mode when we are hungry. you know, like your laptop. LOL. except we are more dangerous. like you know, capable of running into a wall w/o warning.

after all the crazy crap, we went to pizza hut & had cheese pizza again. =.= that 24-hour pizza hut near carrefour has the worst service ever. + the food tasted slightly off. which might actually had been really off cuz we were really really famished. :/

i usually won’t mind a bit. he’s not staying in my room, he doesn’t bother me and he doesn’t stare at me lewdly or whatever, so yeah, the point is i don’t mind. oh & the older sister is err… well, she never smiles at me. instead he does. in a friendly sort of way. so i really have nothing against him.

so what’s with the title of this post i hear you ask from the back of the room.

before this er, zaman overnights, he stayed over a few times before, one which i think is their anniversary or whatever and she presumably kicked her younger sis out of the house (wtf) and the housemate staying in the master bedroom went back to his hometown. so it was just me, her, him… & qi. wtf. i remembered it was the USA-ENGLAND world cup match that night and err, let’s just say we got REALLY high. i honestly couldn’t remember why or how, we didn’t even had any alcohol but we were laughing, giggling and squealing like… err those who know us would know =.=

anyway, *ahem* i think it really spoil their mood… whatever they were doing or planned to do *ahem* so er, let’s just say she sort of ignores me more after that wtf.

whatever lar, not that i’m in love with her or anything so it doesn’t affect me one bit.

okay back to the point…

scenario #1: let’s just say he doesn’t put up the toilet seat when he pees.

take a wild guess how i know. & good god, no i have never seen him pee.

just as i swore nothing could get more disgusting, NOTHING.

in a typical disgusting fashion, he proved me wrong.

scenario #2: after they left for work, i enter the bathroom and notice… something on the floor.

so, in ssl, i’ve eaten approximately 100 bowls of spicy soup mee, 15 bowls of herbal soup mee in a wide span of 14 months WTF.

ironically, when i was reading this widely circulated email of this guy ordering chicken chop rice in every single shop he went… but one day, he had the courage of ordering other sort of chicken rice while telling himself repeatedly like a deranged person that he could change back next time if he doesn’t like this set of chicken rice…

& he experienced the wonders of enjoying a wide variety of food after that.

after reading it, i was thinking how ridiculous it was & it only happens in comics lah!

hi there! it’s a miracle that i’m alive & still kicking! in the past 24 hours… i have achieved my own sense of godlikeness,

i was able to finish EM assignment (while qi did the ecotect design part), a&p2 reports x 2, anatomy test paper correction all in approximately 18 hours.

although i’m really silly for being enthusiastic about my “achievement”, this is of course, not something i should keep up with. however, do allow me the pleasure of immersing in my own silly bubble of self-admiration for awhile… :P

today, qi told me, my whole life revolves around SSL. wtf that’s not true! it’s a noodles shop by the way. she says 9/10 times when she’s around my place, i will definitely bring out the name whenever we’re both hungry. (and that happens so often that… i’d rather not mention it in fear of public ridicule at the portions of food we eat & the frequency T_T) not true ok! sometimes i grew so bored of it, i mentioned it in the same sentence like “i shall never eat it again! so sien!” but she also said that nevertheless, i managed to get rid of my mental barrier the next time she came. of course la! i always got cheated to gk what (although this sem got lazier lar)! the periods in between each visit of yours is approximately 3 weeks? :/

it’s scary, isn’t it? another week more & we’re yet again, thrown into study week frenzy. thanks, thanks, really, thanks.

anyway, i would like to yet again, tell you about another boring story. yes, i’m taking a knife and pointing it at your neck.

one day, god decided that he likes a few people on Earth, enough to reward them with the pill of immortality each. they were, naturally enthusiastic about it. let’s just assume the pills of immortality has to be err… delicately concoct, mix and errrr… thrown into an oven for errrr…. weeks. (ASSUME LAH) however, instead of holding a ceremony that could be liken to a graduation ceremony where you say touching, heartfelt words to win a bet of making more people cry so you could go backstage and claim your winnings…. but that’s for another day… he decided to just save the trouble or was made tired by constant words of enthusiasm propelled towards him by A, he decided to just throw all 10 pills to A. (A was probably getting rather annoying and he was feeling annoyed at the constant indiscreet hurrying).

there were 10 pills. each for every of those 10. A immediately swallowed his. however, instead of handing out the other 9 pills, he decided that he did not like the 9 of them enough to be around them for the rest of eternity. but, what was a guy like him to do? god’s words have reached everyone and he.. he, himself had done the indespicable act of announcing to them that he would hand each & every one of them their pill when god has successfully err… baked… the pills. (well, i did not say it was gonna be logical… )

that being said, A knew, he knew the risk of the 9 people knowing what he did but he could not resist himself! it was too much of an orgasmic act to him! he felt a rush through his veins of evil glee and delight as he rubbed both of his hands together in a mad scientist manner.

each pill was enclosed in a separate container. the contents were all same, but yet, god was hygenic what! … err… bear with me…

A took out each & every pill out of the 9 containers and handed out the containers to those 9. he said in a sad tone that god has a failed degree in baking, thus, he extended his apologies while handing them the pill container, which had ingredients of a successful pill plastered on it. A said amicably that god encourages them to bake the pill themselves.

quiet afternoon

sigh. i just got back from lunch.

it’s been sooo long since i ate alone outside :(

it’s probably inferiority complex but i still can’t embrace it. it’s far too… lonely :(

i don’t know what possessed me to do it but i guess it can accounted for by my raging fever. how did i know i had a fever? ironically, although i’m studying bio stuff but i can’t even detect that i have fallen ill. goddamn stupid.

someone remarked that i was hot yesterday. okay, i would really like it if it meant what i hope it meant LOL. they meant my body was hot. … goddamn this is getting nowhere.

funny but the symptoms of it that i’m feeling right now has been running for about a few weeks already WTF.

so, it probably meant i’m having an on & off fever for a few weeks but i’m so dense that i’m not getting it. goddamn receiver rosak :(

and now, you’ll probably be wondering why was i having nasi paprik in a mamak store within my condo grounds while i’m blissfully enjoying the effects of my raging fever. the reason is… aiya, i don’t know also. i guess i was too dizzy to entrust myself with the noble mission to walk a distance to have a healthier meal. but then again, who am i kidding? healthier meal? here? nah.

all i wanted was a quiet lazy afternoon with a warm meal down my oil barrel stomach. i initially wanted to eat in my room but i thought some fresh air would do me some good. and again.. who am i kidding?

when i walked towards the store, all i saw was two condo guards eating. i sat down, ordered and then suddenly half a dozen people came in and speak a mixture of gibberish, mandarin, malay & tamil.

thank my lucky stars.

i took out my iphone (no other better invention at that moment) and started playing the shark game, where the player is a shark and you get the gobble up fishes & PEOPLE.

god, i love it.

fast forward to the time where i was gorging myself of food. more guys who suspiciously seemed to be from utar. nah, erase that. they ARE definitely from utar. some people ooze utar style, i’m unfortunately serious. i am no doubt one of them HAHAHA. the classic backpack and nerdy glasses, uncombed hair, big t-shirt, slippers, old shorts.

they talked incessantly, looked over at me with my awfully huge plate of rice that stared at me accusingly when i couldn’t finish it.

then, as if i thought the worst part of eating alone has already happened, someone yelled my name in a unique way that i could not ignore and instantly knew who it was.

in my state, throbbing head, unkempt hair all over my face, unfinished plate of rice accusingly staring at me while all the while projecting images of african kids through my mind, the curious group of guys in front and me thinking how dead i would be tomorrow at this time…

i waved and smiled like an idiot.

HA HA HA.

and so, that proudly draws an ending to my quiet afternoon lunch.

okay, back to the plate of rice. i left like 3 mouthfuls. seriously stuffed. normally, i could finished EVERYTHING.

the truth remains that we are in no position to judge love relationships. it might seemed crystal clear to the world but there are sure to be certain things that eludes the most observant of minds.

lately, i’ve been shamefully something i largely despised not long ago – a stalker. LOL. i delight myself with the obvious spark between two certain people i don’t even know. well, at least i am just an internet one. such stalkers are quite common actually *consoles self*

their bliss momentarily allow me to run away from assignments, reports and tests for awhile :P

i think the reason why they appeal so much to me out of so many relationships is that… theirs seemed to have came out of a damn blissful teenage drama.

like it or not, most of us have a certain love-hate relationship with teenage dramas :/

we would love to be the characters in it at some point of our lives, whether it was a passed infatuation of the mind or not.

but these people, they are true characters in this world and down-to-earth. & goddamn diabetes-sweet to each other HAHAHA. it’s like watching romeo-juliet love story unfold in front of your eyes (ok, not exactly, cuz you cant really see it online wtf)

aih, the point is they made me an internet stalker. not my fault. really. ask god D:

the thing is, i find some sense in what eanjee said. it’s a little like telling the world the slightest feeling you have now. like, i’m hungry. so? GO EAT LAH. not like i could facebook chat you a cheesecake or something. however, i shall plainly admit that i too, have committed this silly mistake.

and also, i realized that some of the time, all i get after reading facebook stuff is pangs of unspeakable horror, disappointment, sadness and more horror.

some stuff is better left alone. i don’t wish to like anything, comment about anything. let it go with the flow. i’ll take the back seat :)

i guess one of the significant changes in me is that i no longer vomit verbal diarrhoea on people who might have asked for it or who haven’t or who just probed me gently about what has been bothering me to result in such a sulky face. i learned that i shouldn’t torture people with my own childish thoughts.

people do not like it, and i would not like the consequences as well. so, why throw myself in the middle of a busy highway road?

ah well, but i shall predict this phase will run out of gas soon. i’ll probably be back on facebook typing more silly stuff or… i might just deactivate it :/ well, the future would tell.

one day, a guy, B added me on facebook. like most people, they typically add the people i’m always with too. one day, A & i were talking about someone, which leads to a misunderstanding on my side. i thought A was referring to this guy, B who has a unique facebook picture. but A wasn’t talking about him.

to clarify who i was referring to, A showed me B’s profile on fb. and i said yes.

fate has a way of telling us it exists.

B wrote a status about getting attracted to a certain type of girls who has a distinctive type of feature. haunted by curiosity, both of us read it without even telling each other to do so.

the contents left us with horror at certain JUNIORS (i’m spitting this word out bdw).

take for example that you are fat.

they would say something like OMFG, can she get any fatter? her fats like gonna leak out anytime, man! like, if i see her, i would like to cut out all her fats. my friend once told me to walk up to her and say “miss, your fats have dropped all over the place, this is the cork, please don’t leak it out again”.

take for example that you have a lot of pimples.

they would say something like, FUCK so many pimples! if i see her, i would like to cut off her face lor. so ugly! see also want vomit. like ghost leh.

waking up after more than half a day’s time always felt different. first, you scramble up for your phone and look at the time groggily and think how the hell are you able to wake up so early (5am)?! den remembered you slept about 2 hours after 5pm the day before… then, you unconsciously fall back on your bed cuz you’re a lazy bum like that.

damn tired. another horrible wednesday with absolutely no rests whatsoever. i just went through 9 hours of class. fuck school.

rainy days make you crave for a hot bowl of steaming noodles T_T

in my case, i crave for this every single day :(

fuck cafeteria food too. & i thought i would never really mean it. well, that was then. when you’re as big an eater like me, you’ll get bored of everything soon. everything’s so mundane & oily. the other day, i ate 2 plates of rice in less than 3 hours. i ate before the 1pm class and eat right after it, which was 3pm. so yeah. today i ate another plate of typical economy rice & a chicken burger. so tired of it. maybe i’ll grab a plate of nasi lemak instead tomorrow… but heck, the several worldcup-session nasi lemak hadn’t fully digested itself yet, i feel rather nauseous even thinking about it. then again, there’s less than mediocre (or so i’ve heard, correct me if i’m wrong) chicken rice, which, i seriously do not have the urge at all to eat. i’d rather have macaroni.

i love it. if only i have the energy, time, heat-retaining tupperware to do so :/

speaking of lunch… i was sitting behind this red haired dude who seemed to be out of place amidst our nerdy looking bunch of people… so, i bought my typical plate of economy rice and sat down, then as typical as it is, i had the urge to pee so i stood up and tried to grab the chair handle to pushed it towards the table so i could pass through.. i tried for several times without looking… but all i felt was this cotton material against my rather…. reckless fingers. i looked up in frustration (god knows what i was distracted at) and realized i was sort of scratching the guy’s thick shirt/hoodie/jacket/cardigan whatever. but the point was… WHAT THE HELL WAS I DOING? i dunno why.. but i’ll just assume he had such decency (or to avoid more awkwardness…) to ignore the “scratching” sensation… i mumbled sorry and split as fast as i could T_T

i think he was terrified of the girl-scratching-back monster so he wasn’t there when i got back, thank god.

anyway i woke up with a jolt at 646am in the morning while my first class of the day was at 8am. can’t help it. it was raining! too much a luxury to be sleeping when it rains. plenty of rushing & alot of “where is that goddamn socks!” & "where’s the keys?” “fuck, i need my jacket!!” later… i got out with a really pink umbrella (skin food gift – can’t help it) just in time to watch the utar bus showing me its bright blue ass. fuck you.

resigned, i went to wait for the ktar bus with a bunch of ktar students. even the ktar students weren’t looking so glamorous as they used to today… :/ it took more than 20 mins to get from the bus stop to ktar while it would only take at most 15 mins. damn jam. i spent that amount of time playing, yet again, sushi game on my iphone as the guy who was equally bored sometimes looked on beside me =.=

the real horror was threading from ktar to utar in roads full of rain water, or worse, muddy water. i was rewarded with this:

today, i did something ridiculous.

i burst into tears in anatomy class wtf. i am not even sure how many people witnessed it. definitely my anatomy lecturer though, i think she kindly avoided calling me when i was calming down & playing some random lame sushi game on my phone to prevent the tirade of tears welling up again. at one point, i even had to rush out and to the comfort of a toilet stall (dunno why i follow drama storyline so much also.. u know that kind of ppl who will sob in a private stall) thanks to qi who chased after me…

what kind of loser still sobs at this age in public anyway. it’s like i’m in a sad love drama & i got dumped or something wtf.

i did some thinking and all these stuff that kept happening lately… people being mad at me, people ignoring me, people letting me down.. it’s probably none other than my fault.

i’m sorry :( i’m hot tempered, i’m dense, i act irrationally & most of the time, i cant even expressed myself correctly. people misunderstand me half of the times & it’s perfectly understandable.

and then i kept blowing bubbles off my window to cheer myself up but it turns out that watching the bubbles burst only add to the well of unhappiness :/

1) i ALMOST got hit by a car today

i was listening to my iphone songs and alighting for the bus and looked left cuz the cars are coming from the left direction (correct). summore the cars were heading my way quite fast so i quickly cross the road.. halfway to safety (technically also not quite safe as anything can happen in the world… but safer lor), i noticed from the corner of my eye that there was a white car on my right !!! …

i ran to the left as quick as my pudgy legs could take me T_T

the guy who crossed the road before me kept looking back at me… probably cuz my face was quite ashen at that point (mostly from running – no stamina, less because of the shock of probable death)

2) food addiction: vege soup <3

okay lar, i think it really came as a shock to people when i said i cooked vege soup last night.. actually, it kinda did to me too.. i never cook vege soup!! (unless if you count the half arsed stirring at home when my mum asked me to look after it and to make sure it doesnt overcook or something… at which point, i had to call after my mum and bug her with sentences like “omg, mum ah, i see alot bubbles leh! cooked already or not?”

i think i have something with bubbles =.= … like i kept treating bubbles as a sign that something is cooked. like “okay, water got bubbles already = cooked” then proceeds to switch off the gas lol.

the day before when i cooked macaroni + steam veges, tomatoes & hotdogs <3

haih i dunno how to explain this but i SWEAR the bowl is really deep. ask whoever who came and saw it T_T i ATE LIKE MAD I TELL U. SOOOOO MUCH!

i know… it does not look very appetizing here but it really is!

i) i stole dunno which housemate’s salt =.= … at least i think it’s salt… or maybe not.. might be ajinomoto wtf i tasted but i can’t tell the difference!

remember there was one time when my dad told me to get salt (when my mum wasn’t home) and i was cooking something simple… i think it was that time when i cooked spaghetti and my dad was quite horrified by the idea of having to eat what i cooked =.= *sad :( i asked dad: dad ah, which one is salt? *holding two identical bottles

at which point, i had already consumed alot of both… =.= trying to figure out which is which wtf haih

ii) i also “borrowed” presumably the midnight-underwear-washers’ big soup scoop =.= sorry lah, i don have what!

then use already very scared, faster wash and wipe till super dry and placed it back carefully (everything when she was in the shower) T_T

3) i ALMOST lost my iphone

on monday, i went out with qi & angie to wangsa walk mall.. angie fetched us omg the luxury of being a car passenger is what i craved most when i’m here! … =;= mad sad i tell you..

so we parked near the place where it is known worldwide that they have awesome 煮炒 and head over to ssl… when we set foot in ssl, i noticed a senior of mine was nearby eating with a few friends… seconds later, i was thrown into a state of panic as i couldn’t find my iphone in my bag!! T_T in a fit of anxiety, i asked angie for her car keys and went to find… to no avail!! T_T damn panic and already thinking the aftermath of the lost of my dear dear dear iphone… probably will cause my death. when i somehow or other walked back to ssl with my mind laden with worries, i saw angie… and a very wet table. she explained that she knocked over a glass of chrysanthemum and qi went to the toilet to clean up… we waited for her to come out while i continued to wallow in sadness.

by the time she did and we switched tables… our food have arrived but seeing the state i was in, qi offered to look for it again with me… and so we did!…

i was convinced at that point that i had dropped it near the car and someone had picked it up T_T

but it actually just fell beside the gear box =.=

i got majorly laughed at T_T

but was so relieved i could have thank you for laughing anyway…

when i went back, the senior’s friends were just leaving and he left last.. i waved to him but he looked abit distracted and walked past me… without waving back and leaving the whole ssl looking at me pitifully

i’ve wanted a kitty when i was about 4 den i wanted a bunny when i was 6 but the closest pet i had was a goldfish =.=

i dunno why but all of them died really fast T_T i cleaned their water n feed them one lor! …. ( “i ” can also mean my dad/mum/bro lar *ahem)

then lately, chiachee posted on fb that she wanted to rear a cat and then qi told me she felt like rearing one too. i think we saw too many cats during mamak/football session yesterday =.= england vs US.

i was reminded of the time when chuenyin told me that she saw a very cute but hurt kitten near her house one day and hid it in her closet as her dad dislike the idea of rearing animals in the house. she fed it regularly each day until one day where we needed to attend prefect camp i think. she left ALOT of food in the closet and hid it in the closet and left.

for the 3 days and 2 nights, her dad was continuously haunted by the mews of a kitten until he finally found it and took care of it. he fed it, cleaned it and took it out for walks :) so sweet!

when she came back, her dad was like…. YOU! … YOU HID A KITTEN IN YOUR CLOSET? do you know that it might have died!?

and then they nursed it back to health together and let it go. HAHA cute la the story :)

anyway, qi told me randomly that she needed black shirts then after 10 mins, she said she need black stockings as well.

there’s an exhibition, which is “transforming the human nature” in school today till wednesday. i went for what i thought was a casual visit but i soon realized it really meant something for me. i had my own opinions of it & i was pretty surprised people did not have the same opinions on the subject with me.

there were 3 sections. the 1st being a comparison between people who have food on their tables and people who do not and the narrator tells us that shouldn’t some country allocate the same amount of money used to research nuclear weapons be used on underprivileged people?

i understand his point. but, think about it, i’m randomly taking two countries: if i’m the US while you’re north korea, you’re suspected of creating nuclear bombs. and there’s little doubt that you would use it on me and harming my citizens if you managed to achieve that. you would undoubtedly use it to control every country.

what could i do? i think allocating some money to research on it would be fine since you did not sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and had openly declared that you possessed nuclear weapons. i feel threatened. it doesn’t really mean that i am researching to create a better nuclear weapon than yours but i could be researching the effects or ways to counter it.

if i do as what the narrator adamantly insists, IF you would attack me with your nuclear bombs one day, and i have no resistance to offer my citizens, wouldn’t they suffer more?

at which point, the narrator was obviously trying very hard to get me of his duty and throw me over to section 2.

oh and there was a picture of a guy on a small shabby boat searching for something. the caption on the picture was that he was searching for plastics. i asked him: why was he searching for plastics?

he gave me something vague but i pressed on… unintentionally… i wasn’t thinking! i was not aware that he didn’t know the answer actually. i just wanted to know. he said that the guy was finding plastics bottles where he could get hold of clean water in it =.=

i later got to know from qi that the guy was actually getting plastics to sell. certain plastics are recyclable like straws.

section 2 narrator is pretty good but his beliefs give me the impression that he only based on all of these on black and white. i believe a great pasture of gray exist in between. he talked about the world war II where america dropped nuclear bombs on hiroshima and nagasaki.

i asked him, do you think america had a better alternative?

he said yes. but didn’t state what it was exactly, but brought me back to where he thinks that it could be resolved in a peaceful way.

not meaning to be disrespectful to any parties but if it could have, i don’t think such measures would have been taken. it was horrible and its effects lasted even now.

in addition, he claims america totally knew that their nuclear bombs would bring about such damage (effects which lasted so long) to japan. then again, how would you know for sure?

he talked about greed of the americans to bring about their nuclear bombs. what about the greed of japan when they conquered us all? i don’t think i would have to remind you of their actions.

think about it this way, would japan stop their cruelty if the nuclear bomb was not dropped? you might say yes. but i shall ask you, when exactly?

your anchestors might have got tortured already and you won’t even be here telling me that they would have stopped, given the opportunity and time.

the 3rd section was about the berlin wall and at that point, i was too afraid to be labelled “the bitch” to continue arguing. so i only commented that the berlin wall was kinda thin LOLOL.

at this point, you might find it hard to believe, but i’m really all for peace but i think defending your nation should be a priority as well.

… unless there comes a day where every single country sworn to never ever create nuclear bombs to attack each other and to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and then, that would be the day where everyone is happy, secure and the government would definitely have more money to help the underprivileged.

that is my vision.

recently, someone told me that i am a different person from year 1 semester 1. i knew perfectly well that it could meant well/ neutral or even bad.

but i was strangely remarkably happy.

perhaps it was something that i know clearly had changed in me… certain useless things that were once of vital importance to me are of least importance now. i’m glad that i have grown (albeit much too slow for my own sake), thanks to the people around me.

some of you might know that if i realized it earlier, i might be studying journalism right now.

yeah yeah, what a great opening of a post, but what the hell i like to keep things interesting. & anyway, the title was supposed to be “je suis tulan” which means i am tulan. but i’m cowardly and am now shivering in fear that my post will be on top of the updated list in some blogs, namely seen’s and french teacher would somehow stumble upon it and torture me next saturday.

i have no inkling where to start expressing my tulan-ness. so i’ll just start… anywhere.

im totally tulan at myself. and i know tulan is a very strong and vulgar word for a girl and judgemental people or others probably can’t stand and would totally feel goddamn tulan at me for not fitting into their idealistic world where girls curtsy like 12,000 times per day and be sickeningly sweet all the time but FUCK IT OK! please lah, at least i would say TULAN when i feel TULAN. instead of acting totally sweet and stabbing you when you are at your lowest point.

the thing about me which would totally bring me down one day (if not already) is that i cannot control my tulan-ness at certain people if they decide to switch on my psycho button of tulan-ness. if i’m tulan, you can definitely sense i’m tulan because i’m really tulan at you. i do not act, i do not try to hide it. anyway, sometimes it’s not you i’m tulan at also, it’s me or… the weather or something wtf.

i’m in a very foul temper lately. i don’t know lah, maybe i have godlike serious PMS or something. i realized i keep getting tulan at the slightest things and i really cannot hide my tulan-ness. i am tulan at my housemate for throwing a steamboat party after my exhausting structural biochemistry test (with details in the post before) and hogging the bathroom after that when i wanted to shower and finish up my structural biochemistry report due the next day. i am also very tulan at her for deciding to wash ALL her dirty underwear on that particular time. WHO FUCKING WASHES UNDERWEAR AT 1125PM!??! are you that desperate to wash underwear? is there an urgent need like say.. you ran out of underwear and you need one set in the next few hours?

goddamn, i know i am such a tulan to the max person now.

and also, lately, i cannot stand people who SOMEHOW OR OTHER DECIDES TO CUT ME SHORT IN THE MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE and you know what is even more fucking IRONIC? you fucking despise people for it too. damn tulan.

… i also have no idea why i could elegantly pull out 4 different shreds of tissue from the tissue box instead of a single complete one but then again, you should not put much of your thoughts in it because that’s just the intro of this post.

now, where was i? oh yes, goddamnit.

1) after going through a night of torture, like seriously super godlike torture, on the scale of 1 to 10 and 10 being the extended godlike level of hell, i rate it 9.6. i started around 12 something AM or so, while the greater part of my class has already (read AND memorized every single detail) to the power of 5. today in lab before the test, this guy of the “greater part of the class” announced rather egoistically, with a full blast of “please pity me” tone that he only managed to study THRICE. GODDAMNIT, YOU %&#$^#^#$^#&$^$*&$^$#%%&# god, i know right, i am still the same. although, i just have to add that some people told me not to change because i have such an awesome personality *pukes all over. anyway, i kept getting this hunger pangs during the hell session, so i brought out all my food (& some rubbish as yi ru decides to plainly call it). after some time, i got hungry again and this time i am reminded of my delicious chocolate in the fridge. i lunged for it like a starving lion which just saw… a fish. yes, i know, the weird description & all that but the whole point was that i have proudly finished 97% of the my last bar of chocolate. yes, i am crying at the rate of depletion of my chocolate supply. it saddens me more than anything. i was left like a fish out of water with my measly pitiful supply of 3% of chocolate. i moaned in agony and decided to cut the drama and go straight to the delicious part. goddamn, i sound like some obsessive psycho case. alas, it was too hard for me. so i put it aside and… fell asleep. GODDAMNIT.

i woke up at 9 and… tragically kept back my 3% of chocolate. then, i somehow miraculously got myself almost lost in KTAR, OF ALL PLACES. you see, i was rather late when i went to the bus stop and while i was cautiously scrutinizing everyone, i realized they exude an aura of KTAR-ness. aiya, do not ask me about the aura, it is not like they have chanel perfume on and we have something else, it’s just the feeling and the attire. meanwhile, i was looked at like the ugly duckling in a pond full of superior ducks. while i was contemplating to make a run for it, the KTAR bus came, i am sure it was fate. normally, the ktar bus would totally dump me somewhere along the ktar road, outside ktar… but noooo, today, the driver probably got lucky with his wife/gf/mistress extensive enough to decide to drive the whole bus in ktar, which i totally panicked a little and had to do some serious geometrical research. i took 16 whole minutes to get from where i was unceremoniously dumped and my lab location. then, i had to feel this sense of nausea because

a) i had not eaten my 3% of chocolate.

b) i had not eaten my 3% of chocolate & i bloody missed it.

c) i had not eaten my 3% of chocolate & i bloody missed it & i was starving.

i had to suck it up and finished the experiment… which i somehow due to fate, once again, had the opportunity to hear about how bodies get chopped up in mortuaries and what they go through during post mortem! oh and how their brains got stolen from their head and then substituted by cotton wool and and how bodies are left for decay (and maggots to have a feast on) for days to examine seriously scientific stuff (read: quench the thirst of being psychotic for scientists) how delightful. hahaha! alright, but i’m just kidding. no, not about the aforementioned part but the part where i was nauseous because of it. it didn’t affect me as my puny little brain could not connect the dots anyway.

against all odds, i miraculously reached the cafeteria and stuffed my face, finally felt better. food cures me.

2) during the test, i counted the ratio of the conjugate base to weak acid of 1:10 to the power of 4. i chided myself that i was an idiot and it was absolutely impossible! i gave up, and only wrote half of the equation.

now, i have to kick myself in the shins because it was exactly the answer. GODDAMNIT.

do you have a gun which i can use? i would totally like to kill myself right now. then again, a knife definitely hurts more, hmmm :/ what else?

3) when i crawled back home, after finishing a 1.5 hour paper in one third of the time, i am DELIGHTFULLY surprised by half a dozen people in my condo unit. my ktar housemate decided to have a steamboat party. awesome! totally what i need!

… and then more people came… and more… and more… there were like 20 people in the living room and dining corner and the kitchen. when i came out of my sanctuary to get some err, food (read: chocolate), the 20 people stare at me like how they stare at me in the bus stop, but that is totally accountable to the fact that i use chee cheong gai’s perfume and they use chanel. after miraculously making it back to my room without tripping over a piece of fish ball or something of equal stupidity, i thanked god for awhile and finished my chocolate. … then, i craved for the potato chips in the kitchen.

but i was too cowardly to go out again so… i cried myself to sleep.

4) while i was stuffing myself full of potato chips a few minutes ago, i had this horror thought. what if i look like a fat pork in my swimming suit!!! (which i never worn by the way, because a) i am a fat pork roll b) being a fat pork roll, the skill of swimming eludes me)

then again, looking like a fat pork is one thing while not being able to fit into it is another more SERIOUS case.

alright, the reason why i am stressing myself out because of such things, (and then stuffing myself full of more junk in the process because i’m too stressed out, it’s a whole goddamn cycle meticulously planned out by the junk food tycoon i am telling you), the 半打XX group + 1 (andrew) are planning to take a vacation together!

but i’m afraid it would be 5 + 1 + a fat pork roll.

oh and fat pork roll forgot to ask parents for permission yet. aaahh.

damn shitty lar me i knowww... millenniums have passed since my last post lor! summore ironically about how i wanna blog more consistently wtf.

my ability to blog has long died. eh but i am not to be blamed completely ok! i swear i wrote a moderately long post one of the days last month but!!!

i'm using my plugged on laptop without a battery and when i was typing the last (sarcastic) sentence... the stupid %#@%@ metroview electric supply shut down on me! what a pain in the ass! and summore for like 5 secs only!!!

(which i spent looking in horror at my then blank black sheet of nothingness.)

i suppose the lesson of the day is to not be sarcastic WTF.

i know blogger saves your drafts and all but i was using windows live writer. aiya, more convenient and all mar... but it doesn't save every 5 secs or so like blogger so... MY POST GONE LOR.
